Lake Tanuki

This is an artificial lake located on the Asagiri Plateau at the western foot of Mt. Fuji, and is famous for the fact that Diamond Fuji can be seen in the early morning from April to August. There is also a promenade where you can go around the area on foot or by bicycle.

Mt. Fuji skyline

Mishima Skywalk

Kakitagawa spring water group

It is the shortest first-class river in Japan at approximately 1.2 km, and is a rare clear stream whose water source is a large amount of spring water. Mishima Taisha Shrine

It flourishes as a shrine that enshrines Kotoshiro no Mikoto and Oyamazumi no Mikoto, and is crowded with people who pray for prosperous business and a bountiful harvest. It is also known as a place where Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed before raising an army to overthrow the Heike clan, and is also a popular power spot.

Nirayama reverberatory furnace

It is the only existing reverberatory furnace in Japan that actually operated. In July 2015, it was registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site as a component of the "Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution", which includes the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace.

Hattasan Son'eiji Temple

This temple is located on Mt. Houta, one of the three Enshu Sanzan temples. It is the head temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect, and is designated as an important cultural property of the country. The principal image, Sho Kannon, is known as a Kannon that wards off evil spirits, and its specialty is dumplings that ward off evil spirits.

Kakegawa Castle

This beautiful castle is known as the ""Famous Castle of the Tokai"" and has been restored as Japan's first authentic wooden castle tower. Hamamatsu Castle

This castle was the base of the young Tokugawa Ieyasu, and is called ""Shusse Castle"" because many of the castle's successive shoguns later rose to become executives in the Edo Shogunate. The castle tower has been rebuilt on the stone wall facing the field.

This is a sightseeing area in the Shizuoka City, Yaizu City, and Fujieda City areas that can be easily accessed from Mochimune. Kunozan Toshogu Shrine
